Owner and Founder Ryan Parr envisioned an alternative to CrossFit after nearly a decade of training and competing. With experience as a Level 1 CrossFit Trainer and certifications in CrossFit Strongman, Kettlebell, Football, Weightlifting, and ISSA PT, Ryan sought a better option for himself and others. While CrossFit offered a strong community, its focus on Olympic Weightlifting and high-level gymnastics didn’t align with Ryan’s goals of becoming stronger, leaner, and more capable in everyday life. GRIT emerged as the solution, removing complex movements and emphasizing a consistent training schedule, smaller personalized classes, and maintaining a supportive group atmosphere.

Our group classes are structured around consistent strength training, ensuring progress and results. Each class includes a warm-up with mobility, plyometrics, and skill work specific to the daily lift.

Comprehensive Workouts

Our members achieve great results by following this strength-focused plan. Alongside the main lift, we incorporate circuit-style exercises to keep you engaged and moving. Every session also includes conditioning exercises using bodyweight, kettlebells, dumbbells, sandbags, sleds, tires, and more.
